QA Team Leader - UK

We manufacture a range of electronic fluid analysis equipment and are recruiting an energetic and enthusiastic QA Team Leader. The purpose of the role is to lead the Compliance department and ensure all processes; from raw materials to finished goods, follow the company and quality standards.  Also that the compliance with ISO9001 and QAN is maintained at all times.



Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire (Relocating to Evesham, Worcestershire - Quarter 4, 2022)

Reporting to:

Operations Director


  • To lead the compliance team as a Team Leader with responsibility for a direct report
  • Visit UK and European suppliers to conduct supplier audits
  • Visit and collaborate with HQ in Milan Italy
  • Thorough understanding as well as being able to lead and manage all aspects of REACH, Rosh, CMRT and COSH regulations
  • Lead Health and Safety within the business.  This will include responsibility for risk assessments.  Ideally you will be NEBOSH qualified
  • Help maintain H&S systems
  • Manage the control of waste, WEEE compliance, battery compliance
  • Understand the basic requirements for CE/UKCA
  • Ability to assess industry standards
  • Understand / maintain and lead changes to our QMS, with a specific understanding of ISO9001 and the QAN process
  • Maintaining ISO 9001 accredited QMS
  • Implementing TQM
  • Control of internal audit/external audit in accordance with ISO9001
  • To be able to understand and read technical drawings
  • To understand inspection methods and be able to apply them
  • Assist in inspection activities
  • Manage continuous improvement
  • Maintain quality assurance
  • Controlling NCRs, corrective actions
  • Lead quality projects that increase effectiveness, improve product quality and H&S within the company, have experience of presenting improvement matters to stake holders
  • Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations
  • Responsibility for ensuring compliance throughout the wider business through collaboration with other departments.


  • Three years plus experience in manufacturing industry or similar
  • A team player but with the initiative to make own decisions and work with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter, able to identify requirements independently, then make proposals for solutions
  • Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, often with ever-changing priorities
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical approach, with attention to detail
  • Aptitude to learn from others and share knowledge with others
  • Previous experience of an ERP system; ideally Microsoft AX
